The following information represents TCQ’s best efforts to date to understand the Mandatory Face Mask rules application for taxis and has been prepared after consultation with Queensland Police plus review of published materials on Queensland Government websites.
The Queensland Government’s Covid-19 traffic light system is no longer in use. This means you can wear face masks at any time if you choose to, though it is not mandatory. You should stay at home if you are sick, maintain good hygiene and keep up to date with your vaccinations.
