Traffic Alert – Pacific Motorway (M1), Underwood

TRAFFIC ALERT – PACIFIC MOTORWAY (M1), UNDERWOOD UPDATE

Update: April 2025

Nightly closure of the M1 northbound Logan Road off-ramp (Exit 20) and Logan Road from Sunday 27 April to Friday 9 May 2025 (excl. Friday and Saturday nights) for asphalting works.

M1 OFF-RAMP (EXIT 20) AT LOGAN ROAD: Closed nightly between 9pm – 5am

Motorists should use an alternative motorway exit, such as:

  • Loganlea Road, Slacks Creek (M1, Exit 24)
  • Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains (M3, Exit 14)
  • Miles Platting Road, Eight Mile Plains (M1, Exit 88).

LOGAN ROAD (BETWEEN ROCHEDALE ROAD AND COMPTON ROAD): Closed nightly between 8pm – 5am

Motorists should use Springwood Road. Vehicles above 4.3 meters will be directed to an alternative route by traffic controllers.

The M1 off-ramp (Exit 20) and Logan Road under the M1 will remain open during the day, outside of these hours.

Queensland Police Service and traffic controllers will be on site to manage all vehicles, pedestrian and bicycle movements.

Delays are expected, so please allow extra travel time or if possible, seek an alternative route. As always, ensure you drive carefully and follow traffic signs.

Weather, site and construction conditions can impact works, delaying start and finishing times.

Between 9pm and 5am, the M1 northbound Logan Road off-ramp (Exit 20) will be closed nightly from tonight until Friday 21 March 2025 for kerb, island and asphalting works, excluding Friday and Saturday nights.

Motorists should allow extra travel time and use an alternative motorway exit, such as:

  • Loganlea Road, Slacks Creek (M1, Exit 24)
  • Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains (M3, Exit 14).

The Logan Road off-ramp will remain open during the day, outside these hours.

Queensland Police Service and traffic controllers will be in place and reduced speeds can be expected. Please ensure you observe reduced speeds, drive carefully and follow traffic signs.
