NOTIFICATION OF UPCOMING SCHEDULED ROAD CLOSURE

Brick Constructions are writing to inform you of upcoming night works related to the new development project at 8-16 Anstey Road, Albion, installing a crucial water connection to support this development.
WHY NIGHT WORKS?
To minimize the impact on the daily activities of local businesses and community and ensure the safety of both the workers and the public, in accordance with Brisbane City Council, Qld Police Service, and Work Safe QLD requirements, Brick Constructions will be scheduling these works to occur during night hours (7:00 PM to 3:00 AM).
SCHEDULED DATES
The works are intended to be completed over one night. While we are unable to confirm the exact date at this moment, the anticipated scheduled works will occur on one of the following Thursday’s: 6th, 13th, 20th, or 27th of February 2025. We will provide a specific date as soon as it is confirmed.
TEMPORARY DISRUPTION TO WATER SUPPLY
During these works, there will be a temporary disruption to the water supply. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
To ensure the safety of all, there will also be a temporary road closure on Lever Street (between Anstey Street & Frodsham Road). It is likely that this will also necessitate the closure of Anstey Street (between Sandgate Road and Lever Street).
NOISE CONSIDERATION
Brick Constructions are aware of the noise that these necessary works may produce throughout the evening and will make every effort to minimize the impact on our neighbours. The team is committed to working efficiently to complete these works and reopen the roads as quickly as possible.

Please be advised that Anstey Street between Lever Street and Sandgate Road, will be closed on the dates below, due to necessary construction work at Nouveau, 8-16 Anstey Street, Albion.
Brick Constructions aim to minimise disruption and will re-open the road as quickly as possible.
This scheduled road closure is essential to ensure compliance with Brisbane City Council (BCC), Queensland Police Service (QPS) and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) duties and obligations.
Wednesday 18th December 2024 – 6.00 am to 6.00 pm
Thursday 19th December 2024 – 6.00 am to 6.00 pm
Area Affected:
Anstey Street, Albion between Lever Street and Sandgate Road.
Traffic Management:
Traffic controllers and detours will be in place.
