Road Works Notice – 74 Brisbane Road, Ebbw Vale

Please be advised Niclin Constructions will be undertaking road works at 74 Brisbane Rd Ebbw Vale and Noel Street Intersection (between River and Hoepner Roads).

Timing:

These works will commence 01.09.2024 and be completed by 11.12.2024. Construction hours will generally be from 6pm to 6am, Monday to Saturday, weather and construction conditions permitting.

Work activities include:

Road Works – Road widening and turn lane into site at 74 Brisbane Road

Road Works – Removal of existing Median Right turn into side 74 Brisbane Road

Road Works – Noel Street/Brisbane Road intersection

• Removal of existing traffic islands and pavements
• New kerb, channel and pavements
• Road reworks and repairs
• New traffic islands
• Line marking, installation of road signs & traffic lights.

Expected impacts:

Long Term Lane Closures & Partial Lane closures – hold & release or Detour:

• Where – 74 Brisbane Road, Cross St #1 River Road, and Cross St #2 Hoepner Road.
• When – night works (6PM to 6AM)

Pedestrian/Cycle path closure:

• Where – Noel Street
• When – 01.09.24 – 11.12.24

Night Works including noise, light & vibrations:

• Where -74 Brisbane Road, Cross St #1 River Road, and Cross St #2 Hoepner Road.
• When – 01.09.24 – 11.12.24

Speed Reductions:

• Where – 74 Brisbane Road, Cross St #1 River Road, and Cross St #2 Hoepner Road.
• When – for duration of night works as directed by signage
