Water Service and Sewer Works – Butterfield Street Bus Layover
Butterfield Street Bus Layover – water service and sewer works
Update:
Further to previous advice, Urban Utilities have advised that due to inclement weather conditions, works for the new sewer line connection are unable to be completed at this time. The roadway has been reinstated to normal traffic flow, including the right turn exit from Wilson Parking.
Night works will continue from Monday 31 March until Friday 4 April 2025 between 6.30 pm and 5.00 am, site and weather conditions permitting. If works are delayed, they will be undertaken at the next suitable opportunity.
The right turn exit from the Wilson Parking facility onto Butterfield Street will be closed on Thursday 3 April 2025 and Friday 4 April 2025 between 6.30pm and 5.00am only.
During night works, changed traffic conditions will be in place for vehicles traveling along Butterfield Street towards Bowen Bridge Road. There may be some minor holding of traffic as traffic controllers guide vehicles through this diversion. Please follow the directions of signage and traffic controllers.
TMR apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience during these works. If you have any questions, please contact the project team on 3066 4338 or metropolitanregion@tmr.qld.gov.au.
